Since October 7 and its devastating aftermath- the war in Gaza, in Judea and Samaria, in the north, near the Lebanese border; the relocation of some 120,000 residents from the south and the north; the hostages; the death of over 240 soldiers- hundreds of thousands of men, women and children have been traumatized in varying degrees. The governments’ medical and social services are not able to deal with this tsunami of epic proportions. Hence the Arbel Institute and similar agencies are being called upon to address this pervasive issue.
