Our Mission:
The Israel Magen Fund is dedicated to safeguarding and strengthening Israel’s most vulnerable communities. Our mission is to protect every segment of Israeli society from threats and equip them to respond to life-threatening emergencies. By raising funds, identifying critical needs, and directly delivering essential resources, we provide meaningful security measures for ranches in Yehuda and Shomron, support frontline soldiers and their families, and lead efforts to rebuild and fortify the north and south. Together, we strengthen Israel’s resilience and ensure its communities thrive in safety and security.
David Rose
Our Founder
David Rose has overseen the management and funding of thousands of life-saving and recovery projects throughout Israel. With over twenty years of expertise in emergency response, David has embarked on a new mission to help fund Israel’s top medical and security organizations in vunerable communities in israel. The goal, however, is to fund these projects through the lens of direct action, transparency, and communication.
Menachem Bar Shalom
Director
Menachem has had a distinguished career in fundraising, spanning over four decades. His work includes leadership roles with organizations such as Ateret Cohanim, Just One Life, Yeshivat Sha’alvim Overseas Program, ZAKA, and Yeshivot Bnei Akiva. In addition to his professional achievements, he is a devoted family man, married with four children and eleven grandchildren. An avid nature photographer, he has published two photo essay books, with a third in progress, showcasing his passion for capturing the beauty of the world around him.
